TEKVOX 1201-MV Universal Switcher Wins SVC’s InfoComm Best in Market 2021 Award

TEKVOX is proud to announce that its new 1201-MV Universal Switcher has won an InfoComm Best in Market 2021 Award from Sound & Video Contractor (SVC) magazine.

Announced at the conclusion of InfoComm 2021, the awards support products that were unable to exhibit at the live show this year. The products were evaluated virtually by an independent panel of AV expert judges. TEKVOX has stellar company in the winners’ circle with awards also going to such leading brands as Shure, Epson, Sharp, Sony and Crestron.

“We are delighted that our 1201-MV Universal Switcher has been recognized with an InfoComm Best in Market award from SVC,” says TEKVOX CEO Jim Reinhart. “The 1201-MV is not just another switcher: It enables true BYOD video conferencing by eliminating the need for a conventional in-room PC to drive the conference’s technical components. This is game changing.”

The latest in TEKVOX’s prestigious line of presentation switchers, the 1201-MV facilitates distance engagement for educational and corporate markets by turning the full infrastructure of a modern conference room into a plug-and-play environment.

The switcher utilizes 6-Play™ HDBase-T to transport 4K video, digital audio, PoC, RS232, LAN, and USB over a single cable. The 1201-MV also supports 4K@60 video and has a native USB-C with up to 60W of power charging for a tablet or laptop. It features 12 flexible multiview modes for viewing up to four sources at once without additional hardware, something that was not possible with previous switchers. Lastly, the 1201-MV supports auto-switching, an in-demand control function especially useful for collaboration and conferencing solutions and includes a breakaway HDMI output as well. The award-winning 1201-MV demonstrates TEKVOX’s continued commitment to increase product functionality and reduce the amount of hardware required for successful video conferencing.
