Podcast Series Reaches More Than 12,000 Listeners, Serving Up Beverage Industry Best Practices and Thought-Provoking Conversations

MIAMI & DALLAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits (“Southern Glazer’s”)—the world’s pre-eminent distributor of beverage alcohol—today announced it has reached a milestone of 50 aired episodes of Served Up, the Company’s podcast that serves as a source for beverage professionals to advance their skills, customer experiences, and work environments through insights and ideas shared by celebrated industry leaders. The weekly podcast—which launched in October 2020 and is currently available on Apple, Amazon Music, and Spotify—has welcomed 53 guests and garnered more than 12,000 plays to date, reaching listeners around the world in 14 different countries.

Served Up’s 50th episode, now available, features Julio Bermejo, one of the world’s most iconic beverage managers, who created the Tommy’s Margarita and is the official Ambassador of Tequila to the USA as named by Mexico’s CNIT & the Governor of Jalisco.

The podcast is hosted by Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits National Director of Education Beam Suntory Bridget Albert and Southern Glazer’s Vice President of On-Premise Julie Milroy. Ms. Albert, who has won numerous awards and honorable mentions for her work in the beverage world, is the co-author of Market-Fresh Mixology and the Founder of the National Charity Foundation of the United States Bartenders’ Guild. Ms. Milroy, Certified Sommelier, has 15 years of experience in the beverage alcohol industry, spanning various roles in Sales, Human Resources, Marketing, and Commercial Strategy. The dynamic duo brings to the show a wealth of industry knowledge and expertise with a dash of personality, focusing on topics that matter most to Southern Glazer’s customers and members of the hospitality industry.
