Prudential names Stacey Goodman chief information officer
Role places technology at heart of customer experience
NEWARK, N.J.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–lt;a href=”https://twitter.com/search?q=%24PRU&src=ctag” target=”_blank”gt;$PRUlt;/agt;–Prudential Financial, Inc. (NYSE:
PRU) announced that Stacey Goodman will join the company as
executive vice president and chief information officer, effective July
15. In this capacity, Goodman will lead a strategic, integrated
enterprise-wide organization to deliver added value for customers,
employees and shareholders through the optimal use of data, information,
and digital and technology platforms.
Barbara Koster, who led numerous advancements in the company’s
technology talent, structure and processes over the course of her
distinguished 23-year career with Prudential, announced her retirement
as chief information officer in December 2018.
Goodman will serve as a member of Prudential’s Executive Leadership Team
and report to Robert
Falzon, Prudential vice chair. She joins Prudential from Freddie
Mac, where she served as chief information officer leading all
enterprise technology initiatives and serving on the Senior Operating
Committee.

Previously, Goodman was chief information and operations officer at CIT,
where she helped build out the digital bank platform that grew deposits
three-fold from 2012-2016, and modernized core platforms to support
business growth, productivity, mobility and regulatory goals. CIT was
recognized by CIO Magazine with a Top 100 award in 2016 for the
technology transformation under Goodman’s leadership.
Goodman also held global positions at Bank of America, UBS and Solomon
Brothers, and served on the U.S. Department of Treasury’s Office of
Financial Research Advisory Committee.
