The Founder’s Sale was the opportunity for our users to sign up for Founder’s Keys and unlock the first round of rare digital assets to be used in-game for upcoming seasons. The unprecedented highlight of the event was the Baus auction, which allowed a key holder to bid on the game’s first boss NFT. The Baus is a completely unique asset – only one holder can own the sole collectible – and we’re proud to announce that the auction broke past the $25,000 mark! This makes it one of the highest grossing crypto collectibles, and even places it amongst the top 10 most expensive digital gaming assets of all time (source).
Along with owning something that is one-of-a-kind and a major part of the game’s launch, the winner gains access to the first set of game-influencing features. In this case, the owner is able to influence a number of the design elements, its background music, and more. Full details found here.
