Nations Lending Expands Oregon Footprint with New Branch in Bend

Branch to be led by Cory Benner

BEND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Nations Lending, a leading full-service national mortgage lender, has announced today it’s expanding its reach in Oregon with a new branch in Bend. The company is tapping 17-year mortgage veteran Cory Benner to lead the office as branch manager. Benner will report to Divisional Sales Manager Nino Saso.

Benner served leading positions throughout his career before joining Nations Lending. He comes from Guaranteed Rate, where he was the VP of Mortgage Lending, and previously held senior positions with Bank of America and Bank of the West.

“Having spent the last 17 years in the Oregon lending industry, I can say that no company has the hunger to succeed like Nations Lending,” said Benner. “The company is growing at incredible rates and with its current trajectory, I expect it to be one of the leading mortgage lenders in the Pacific Northwest.”

“The addition of Cory will help build our sales tremendously in Oregon,” said Nino Saso. “He’s someone who has a great network, incredible business learnings, and knows the industry inside and out.”

Since its founding in 2003, Nations Lending has become one of the fastest-growing independent lenders in the country. It retains nearly 100 percent of its mortgage servicing rights.
