MXL Introduces AC-360-A USB Conference Room Microphone at InfoComm 2026

Re-designed for today’s collaborative environments, the upgraded AC-360-A combines sleek design, flexible deployment and a unique analog daisy-chain architecture. This simplifies multi-microphone installations while ensuring every voice in the room is heard with clarity.

The AC-360-A is a compact, all-metal USB microphone engineered specifically for professional meeting spaces. Fully compatible with popular conferencing platforms, such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom and Google Meet, it provides a plug-and-play solution for seamless integration into any workflow.

At the core of the AC-360-A’s performance are twelve internal microphone capsules arranged across four quadrants, delivering true 360-degree coverage. The system captures clear speech up to 5-feet in any direction, providing a 25-foot diameter coverage area. This allows many meeting spaces to be covered with a single microphone, reducing system complexity and setup time. “The ability to achieve full-room coverage from a single device is a game changer for organizations looking to streamline their conferencing setups,” adds Bilderbach.

For larger or more complex spaces, the AC-360-A now can be expanded using 3.5mm TRS analog daisy-chaining, allowing multiple units to be connected in sequence. Audio is routed from the most distant microphone through the chain to the computer, where a single USB connection at the final unit manages the digital output. By combining analog daisy-chaining with a single USB output, the AC-360-A avoids the instability and limitations of multi-device USB audio systems, delivering a more stable and predictable conferencing experience.
