Mercedes-Benz Brand Center Steers into Seattle

The luxury automaker brings immersive retail concept to the Emerald City

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) Brand Center rolls into the great northwest to offer Seattleites a limited time, hands-on experience at University Village. From June 27 through August 25, 2019, visitors can discover the Mercedes-Benz brand through a unique retail concept that’s got it all, including E 53 Coupe, GT 63 4 Door Coupe, A 220 and the new 2020 GLE 350. Guests can slide behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz GT to experience the car’s power and handling through a virtual reality racing game, design their dream vehicle, peruse Mercedes-Benz merch and interact with product specialists to learn more about the brand. There’s even a Lil’ Benz drive-in movie experience for mini motorists that accompany their parents to the store.

The immersive experience also provides visitors with a chance to engage and play with the game-changing technology of the intuitive MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience multimedia system), the industry leading, in-vehicle command center. Whether asking for directions to the best pizza in town, starting your favorite playlist or changing the temperature, this groundbreaking system acts like a virtual assistant by using artificial intelligence to learn driver preferences, including lighting choices, settings, music, destinations and more. Just simply say, “Hey Mercedes,” and the system activates to follow and interpret commands.

The experiential concept stores have ignited significant interest across the nation during stops in Miami, Chicago, Philadelphia, Costa Mesa, Minneapolis and Atlanta. Since its inception, the Brand Center has led to more than 1,800 vehicle sales at local dealerships.

Other locations for Mercedes-Benz Brand Centers will be announced in coming months.
