WorldStage is pleased to announce that Mason Murphy has joined the company’s National Account Management Team as Senior Account Executive/Business Development based in the Nashville office.

Murphy served as Operations Manager for ROE Visual for the past two years where he was responsible for day-to-day operations in the Nashville and Chatsworth, California offices.  The prior year he served as East Coast Sales Manager for the firm.

Previously, Murphy was Director of Business Development for Pyrotek Special Effects, Inc. and Project Manager for Paragon Technology Group, where he managed large-scale, high-end residential AV projects in Aspen, Colorado and Nashville.

Murphy invented a new intelligent wireless lighting technology that creates LED pixels in the audience via wristbands and co-founded Glow Motion Technologies in 2012.  He also acted as the company’s Creative Director and developed engineering teams in the UK and Belgium along with manufacturing partners in China.

“I’m excited about the contributions Mason will make to our firm,” says Michael May, Vice President/Account Management at WorldStage. “Mason has held a variety of positions in our industry, been involved with a number of notable projects over the years, developed some amazing products and knows many of the players in our market.  He is based in our Nashville office and will focus on building our presence in this region of the country while continuing to build on relationships nationwide.”

For his part, Murphy appreciates the innovative leadership role that WorldStage has long played in the industry.  “WorldStage is not just an equipment provider.  They offer so much more in terms of creative technology that makes for the best live event experiences in the world,” he says.  “I look forward to bringing my years of experience and knowledge of LED displays, special effects and live events to WorldStage and their top-notch crew.”
