Thought leaders share experiences in this candid podcast series designed to harness the potential of learning and development in order to help drive business results
PORTLAND, Ore.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–OpenSesame, the elearning innovator, today announced the launch of the original podcast, Learning Unlocked. This new weekly series brings listeners inspirational stories and bold ideas about learning from leading brands and the people who make them work.
Each episode of Learning Unlocked features a conversation with a leader or changemaker from the global world of learning and development. These thought-provoking speakers discuss their greatest accomplishments and challenges, like driving dialogue around racial insensitivity or cultivating meaningful connections in the digital age, and how organizations can use learning to unlock the potential of their workforces.
Learning Unlocked was first launched in October 2020 as a multi-week online conference representing diverse perspectives on workplace learning and organizational development. As a podcast, Learning Unlocked gives listeners additional exclusive access to familiar faces from the event series as well as other influential industry insiders.
“At OpenSesame, we harness the power of technology to help organizations of all sizes deliver impactful and engaging training to their workforces,” said Joshua Blank, President and Chief Product Officer of OpenSesame. “We are excited to hear from the world’s top influencers and experts who are driving discussions about the most pressing challenges employers are facing today. The Learning Unlocked podcast allows listeners to join these conversations and get insights on unlocking the potential of their people through learning and development.”
Learning Unlocked: The Podcast is hosted by longtime podcaster Brian Berger, the founder of award-winning media brand Sports Business Radio and training company Everything Is On The Record, whose elearning content is exclusively available from OpenSesame.
“The pandemic really changed the way we learn – both professionally and personally,” said Berger. “More people are working and communicating virtually, bringing elearning to a pivotal point. Elearning is now more relevant and critical than ever before. The conversations we’re having on Learning Unlocked offer tangible takeaways on the new formula for workplace learning.”
Notable guests sitting down with Berger on Learning Unlocked include Emmanuel Acho, New York Times best-selling author of “Uncomfortable Conversations with a Black Man”; Elliott Masie, President and CEO of The MASIE Center and leader of the Learning COLLABORATIVE; Kara Lynn Joyce, three-time USA Olympic swimmer and founder of the Lead Sports Co. for teenage female athletes; Nigel Travis, Chairman and Co-Owner of Leyton Orient FC, a professional football club based in London, and a former top executive at Dunkin’ Brands, Papa John’s and Blockbuster; Tamar Elkeles, Chief Human Resources Officer at XCOM Labs; Kevin Oakes, CEO of The Institute for Corporate Productivity and author of “Culture Renovation – 18 Leadership Actions to Build an Unshakable Company”; Kayla Nalven, Director of Content Experience for TED@Work at TED; and Rob Lauber, Founder of XLO Global LLC and former Senior VP and Global Chief Learning Officer for McDonald’s Corporation.
