doola Formation API Now Powers Native LLC Formation for Whop’s Global Merchants

Whop merchants can now file a U.S. LLC, get an EIN, and appoint a registered agent without leaving Whop, with doola Formation API running every filing in the background.

NEW YORK CITY, NY / ACCESS Newswire / August 14, 2026 / doola, the Business-in-a-Box solution for global entrepreneurs, today announced that its Formation API now powers LLC formation inside Whop, the commerce platform where creators and digital entrepreneurs sell products, memberships, and communities. Whop merchants can complete entity filing, EIN application, and registered agent setup inside Whop’s native interface, without opening a separate window or handing off to a third-party site.

The integration is doola’s second major Formation API partner deployment, following its July 2026 launch inside Ramp, and a further signal that business formation is becoming a native feature of the platforms entrepreneurs already use.

The two companies were already built into each other’s products. Whop used doola’s embedded iFrame to let merchants form a business, and doola recommended Whop to its own users for payment processing. What changes with this launch is the depth of that connection, not its existence.

The iFrame enabled a fast launch but moving to a direct API integration allowed Whop to embed the formation step into its merchant payout and compliance setup flow as a fully native, white-labeled experience.

As creators configure their store and prepare to accept payments, they now enter their business formation details inside Whop’s own UI. doola’s API handles state incorporation filings, registered agent assignment, and EIN acquisition asynchronously in the background. Merchants stay inside their Whop workspace and unlock access to Whop’s card program, faster payouts, and broader financial services stack as soon as the entity is live.

“Our mission at Whop is to deliver everyone a sustainable income. Whop is building the first end-to-end API for running a business, enabling money movement, customer acquisition, and mobilization of an on-demand workforce. Working with doola, our merchants can now formalize their companies instantly,” said Bear Matthews, Head of Platforms at Whop.

The flow is available to both domestic and international merchants inside their Whop workspace. For founders outside the U.S., it replaces several disconnected steps with a single path.

As fintechs, marketplaces, and creator platforms compete to get merchants earning faster, business formation is moving into the software those merchants already use rather than living on a separate site. For doola, formation is the starting line.

“While our initial launch focuses entirely on formation, the long-term vision for this integration is expansive,” said Arjun Mahadevan, Founder and CEO of doola. “We intend to scale this infrastructure to power embedded bookkeeping, continuous tax compliance, and ongoing regulatory management for every Whop merchant who requires a permanent US business foundation.”
