­­­Vuzix Commences Shipment of Smart Glasses to Fulfill Follow-on OEM Purchase Order

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 29, 2019 /PRNewswire/ — Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), (“Vuzix” or, the “Company”), a leading supplier of Smart Glasses and Augmented Reality (AR) technology and products, announces that the Company has shipped 1,250 M300C Smart Glasses to partially fulfill a follow-on purchase totaling approximately $1 million received from its OEM partner and previously announced in March 2019. 

The balance of product deliveries for this order are expected to be delivered in the second quarter of 2019. The shipment of smart glasses related to the fulfillment of this follow-on order falls under the 3-year supply agreement between the Company and its existing OEM partner.
