Union Home Mortgage Adds Talent in Growing Florida Market

STRONGSVILLE, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Union Home Mortgage (UHM), a high-growth independent mortgage banking company with world-class culture, today announced the hiring of Rachael Gilbert as branch manager based in its Ormond Beach, Florida, branch, located at 1275 W. Granada Blvd., Suite 6A.

As branch manager, Gilbert will be responsible for recruiting new mortgage originators and building UHM’s brand awareness in Volusia and Flagler counties.

Before joining UHM, Gilbert worked as a mortgage loan originator at Ameris Bank. Throughout her almost 20-year career, she served in various roles at local banking institutions including BB&T, Seacoast Bank, PNC and SunTrust Bank.

Gilbert serves on the boards of Women United, an affinity group of United Way, and Volusia Young Professional Group. In addition, she is a member of both Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors and Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce, to which she is a former Chairwoman of the Board. Previously, Gilbert was a former board member and fundraising chair for Early Learning Coalition of Flagler and Volusia counties.
