Chris Stapleton “Tennessee Whiskey” Holds Strong as the Longest-Running Top-Played Jukebox Song in TouchTunes History
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#Music—The Octave Group today released its annual Year-End Charts reporting the top-played songs and artists of 2019 heard in commercial establishments across the United States. The charts are separated into jukebox charts from TouchTunes, the largest in-venue interactive music and entertainment platform, and charts from PlayNetwork, the leader in music curation and programming for brands, in-store and beyond. The charts provide the music industry’s most comprehensive in-venue perspective of popular songs played by consumers while in social environments. TouchTunes’ jukebox charts are based on music played by fans across its domestic network of digital jukeboxes. PlayNetwork’s charts include the top songs and artists played in retail stores, restaurants, hotels, and other types of businesses.
