The Market’s Leading, AI-Driven, Machine Learning Engine Speeds up Personalized Sound to Hearing Aid Users

Delivering on the WIDEX EVOKE™ promise for a smarter tomorrow, WIDEX
will release its second generation of the real-time machine learning
feature, SoundSense Learn.
Users will now be able to optimize
their personalized sound preferences 25% faster than ever before.

HAUPPAUGE, N.Y.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As promised at the launch of this product, WIDEX EVOKE continues to
improve on being “intelligent today, smarter tomorrow”.

Thanks to the extensive amount of user input collected, the 2nd
generation of SoundSense Learn can find the user’s optimal setting 25%
faster than before. While doing so, it now shows users, in real-time,
how quickly they are achieving their best personal sound experience.
This new patent-pending interface is also designed to enhance the 2nd
Generation SoundSense Learn experience while engaging and encouraging
the user.

“Less than a year after launching WIDEX EVOKE, our focus on delivering
innovation to WIDEX EVOKE users is showing great results. Today, 94% of
users already prefer the WIDEX EVOKE sound in challenging environments –
and now we’re making sure SoundSense Learn users can get to their
personalized sound experience even faster and more efficiently. And it’s
all thanks to the SoundSense Learn users around the world,” says CEO
Jørgen Jensen.

WIDEX EVOKE was the first hearing aid to use machine learning to deliver
a truly personalized sound, in the moment, by letting users choose their
listening intention and create their own personal listening preference
via SoundSense Learn. SoundSense Learn takes this anonymized input from
every user, collects it in the cloud, and then Widex experts analyze it
to create a better experience for all users.

With data being collected from around the world, Widex will continue the
quest for a “smarter tomorrow” where the AI-driven SoundSense Learn will
help not only users, but also hearing care professionals converge
towards personalized perfected hearing.
