The Genie Company Expands Smart Opener Capabilities for Aladdin Connect® App

MOUNT HOPE, Ohio–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#GenieCompany–The Genie Company announces that its Aladdin Connect^® smart
garage door openers and controllers have become even smarter. Aladdin
Connect is now compatible with two of the most popular smart home
platforms, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa.

Genie’s award-winning Aladdin Connect app already provides many great
features that make the lives of homeowners more secure and convenient,
such as time-based rules and virtual keys that provide access to
friends, family or service personnel.

By adding Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa to its technical
capabilities, homeowners can now use their favorite home automation
device with the Aladdin Connect garage door opener platform. As part of
continual innovative development, Aladdin Connect has recently been
integrated into many Genie garage door openers. In addition, Genie
offers an Aladdin Connect stand-alone kit that can be added to most
garage door openers produced after 1993, provided they have functional
garage door safety sensors. This kit can virtually change an ordinary
opener into a smart garage door opener. The Aladdin Connect app is free
once you have the system. The app is available from Google Play^®
and the Apple^® App Store.
