Violeta Bozanic, a 14 year-old Australian singer/songwriter and junior vocalist winner of the 2018 World Championships of Performing Arts tracked songs with Grammy-winning producer Jeffrey Weber and multi-award winning recording and mixing engineer Clark Germain at United Recording.

“When I first witnessed a performance by Violeta, the maturity of her voice and her songwriting skills made an indelible impression on me,” says Weber. “It’s very gratifying to be working at United Recording with such an incredible talent. We’re excited to develop her many skills as a performer and recording artist.”

With aspirations to become a professional singer, Bozanic earned five gold medals and three silver medals at the prestigious competition, in addition to a $20,000 recording contract. At the age of 11, she also made it to the semi-finals of Australia’s Got Talent. In the last two years, her original songs, titled “Baby, I Am Sorry” and “Save This World,” made it to 15 of the largest international songwriting competitions.

“As a vocalist, she has been winning talent contests for many years. I met her at a contest, where I was a judge, about a year ago,” explained Weber. “Following her win, she and her parents decided it was time to get her career started and requested that I produce her first record. I asked Dapo Torimiro and Troy Laureta to co-write with her.”

Tormiro has worked with artists such as John Legend, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Bieber. Laureta is the former musical director for Ariana Grande and current music director for David Foster and JJ Lin.

Bozanic recorded in United Recording’s renowned Studio A with Torimiro (keyboards, arrangements, programming), Laureta (keyboards, arrangements, programming), Tariqh Akoni (guitar), Michael Clark (associate producer, score supervisor, librarian), Germain (recording/mixing engineer), David Leach (percussion), Rhonda Smith (bass), Teddy Campbell (drums), and Emily Rath, (background vocals).

Bozanic’s newest single, “It’s You,” is scheduled to be released by Weberworks Entertainment Group in May 2019. To view her winning performance at the Long Beach Performing Arts Center, please visit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Os9PeSPDCJ4
