Virginia Economic Development Partnership – International Trade
Supports SyncDog’s Efforts to Take Mobile Security Solution Overseas
RESTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–SyncDog Inc., the leading Independent Software Vendor (ISV) for next
generation mobile security and data loss prevention, today announced
their export promotion alliance with the Virginia
Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) International Trade Division
in order to more readily enter international markets. With mobile
workforces on the rise, SyncDog plans to take their mobile security
solution, Secure.Systems, global by selling to overseas markets,
increasing the volume of their international business.
A study
released by Zug, a Switzerland-based service office provider, found
that 70% of professionals work remotely at least one day a week, while
53% work remotely for at least half of the week. More employees than
ever before are working outside of the office and away from traditional
security controls. As a result, they find themselves in need of a secure
mobile app experience that is as good as the end-user experience they
have while working in the office on a desktop or laptop. SyncDog
believes that employees should be able to do their work effectively and
securely from wherever they are, on whichever device they choose. Their
goal in working with the VEDP is to reach new global markets and present
more companies with the capabilities to increase productivity of mobile
employees without compromising security.
“Our mission is to challenge the status quo and change the game on how
organizations empower their mobile workforce,” said Brian Egenrieder,
CRO, SyncDog. “By taking our solution to the global market, we are
connecting people in a way that can positively change business
practices, reduce costs, save time, and increase efficiency across all
industries.”
To accelerate these efforts, SyncDog is working with the VEDP to promote
their international trade initiatives through the organization’s ability
to identify potential new markets, develop market entry strategies, and
locate possible distributors and representatives. SyncDog is utilizing
these resources in order to meet with local vetted contractors that will
help them expand to the Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates (UAE), and
Republic of Colombia markets.
By working with the VEDP to export their solution, SyncDog is becoming a
major player in the mobile security industry while also supporting
Virginia’s economic development strategies by bringing in increased
revenue and providing workforce opportunities to the region.
“Expanding internationally can be a crucial turning point for a
business. On average, these companies see a 15% increase in profit
margins and pay employees a 17% higher salary,” said Ellen Meinhart,
International Trade Manager, Virginia Economic Development Partnership.
“When it comes to exporting, the opportunities are endless and by
working with an innovative company such as SyncDog, we are confident
that they will successfully accelerate into new global markets, while
benefiting Virginia’s great economic development efforts.”
