Sklar Kirsh Bolsters Litigation and Real Estate Practices

LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Top boutique law firm Sklar
Kirsh LLP announced today that it has expanded its Litigation
and Real
Estate practices with the addition of Senior Counsel William
Dance and real estate Paralegal Howard
Olds.

Dance has over 15 years of complex commercial litigation experience,
including contract claims, real property controversies, and
entertainment and intellectual property claims. “The attorneys at Sklar

typically find outside of the largest law firms,” said Dance. “They are
solution oriented, with a deep understanding of their client’s business
and goals.”

After graduating with his B.A. from the University of California,
Berkeley, Dance earned an M.F.A. in Film Production at USC’s School of
Cinematic Arts and spent 15 years working in the film and television
industry as a screenwriter, director, producer and editor.

uniquely positions him to understand the goals and legal objectives of
our media and entertainment clients,” said Justin

Practice Group. After deciding to focus his career on law, Bill attended
Harvard Law School and received his J.D. in 2003. He went on to practice
at O’Melveny and Tucker Ellis LLP before joining Sklar Kirsh.

In addition to Dance, Olds brings a wealth of experience to the Real
Estate practice at Sklar Kirsh. Olds specializes in retail ground and
space leasing, purchase and sale transactions, due diligence, title and
survey review and analysis, organization and preparation of closing
documents and coordinating real estate closings. Prior to joining Sklar
Kirsh, Olds worked for the Panda Restaurant Group, Inc. as a Real Estate
Manager and Real Estate Due Diligence Specialist. “At Panda, I learned
the fundamental importance of the customer experience and I bring that
emphasis on exemplary client service to all of my work,” said Olds.

A Los Angeles native, Olds received his B.A. from the University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor and earned his J.D. from The John Marshall Law
School in Chicago.
