De Bell Training Academy zal als eerste de Veris-simulator gebruiken voor trainingen op de Bell 505
TAMPA, Fla.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–TRU Simulation + Training Inc., een bedrijf van Textron Inc. (NYSE:TXT) en een dochteronderneming van Bell Textron Inc., heeft vandaag bekendgemaakt dat zijn geavanceerde Veris Virtual Reality Flight Simulator is goedgekeurd door de Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). De Veris is nu gekwalificeerd als een Level 7 Flight Training Device (FTD) en is ook ontworpen om te voldoen aan de FTD Level 3-normen van het Europees Agentschap voor luchtvaartveiligheid (EASA). De EASA-kwalificatie wordt later dit jaar verwacht.
