Onder de gepresenteerde innovaties belooft Actronika’s haptische vest Skinetic een sensatie te worden. Met Skinetic kunnen gebruikers een nieuwe generatie meeslepende VR ervaren door hen levensechte sensaties te laten voelen van elke interactie in de virtuele wereld.
Virtual reality is de laatste jaren enorm geëvolueerd dankzij de verbetering van VR-headsets. Maar de ervaring kan niet echt meeslepend zijn, want hoewel ze ons in staat stellen om te zien en te horen, laten headsets ons niet aanraken. Het is daarom noodzakelijk om haptische technologieën te ontwikkelen om aanraking te integreren in virtuele ervaringen.
