NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Reulay Inc, the virtual reality therapeutic platform for reducing workplace stress and anxiety, today announced that Dr. Rebecca Ray, Executive Vice President of Human Capital at The Conference Board, has joined Reulay’s Advisory Board.

Rebecca Ray currently leads the US Human Capital Center at The Conference Board. Formerly an executive at several leading organizations, including three Fortune 50 companies, Rebecca was responsible for talent acquisition, learning and leadership development, employee engagement and experience, performance management, executive assessment, coaching and succession management. She was named “Chief Learning Officer of the Year” by Chief Learning Officer magazine, one of the “Top 100 People in Leadership Development” by Warren Bennis’s Leadership Excellence magazine and was recently tapped for the Marshall Goldsmith 100.

As an Advisory Board member, Rebecca will advise Reulay’s executive team as they continue to scale the company to enhance workplace well-being through personalized interventions for employees on their platform.

“Without question, the impacts of the global pandemic, economic uncertainty and social unrest have exacted a significant toll on society’s collective mental health and well-being,” said Rebecca L. Ray, Ph.D. “Forward-thinking corporations looking to succeed in this new normal, are exploring ways to help their most valuable asset—their human capital—not to simply survive, but to thrive in the face of unrelenting change and disruption. I am excited to join the Advisory Board of Reulay and look forward to the positive impact their innovative virtual reality interventions will have on workers, leaders and the communities their organizations serve.”

Reulay’s research-backed virtual therapeutic platform is now being adopted by leading organizations at a time that it is needed more than ever. According to recent research from The Conference Board, employee well-being has suffered since the outbreak of the pandemic: Employee burnout and the number of employees with mental health problems has increased, while work-life balance, engagement and morale, and the number of employees reporting high levels of personal well-being has decreased.

Dr. Srini Pillay, Reulay’s co-founder, chief medical officer and chief learning officer said that Reulay was extremely enthusiastic about Dr. Ray’s contributions. “Rebecca brings an important combination of academic insights, rigor, and pragmatism to our current approach to enhancing well-being,” he said. “Like many of us, she believes we need a new approach to corporate wellness in order to intelligently address the crisis in mental health that we are facing. Having Rebecca on the team adds to our confidence that our interventions will remain relevant, specific and results-oriented.”

“We’re honored to have Rebecca join our Advisory Board, growing our collective expertise even deeper, and signaling the importance and need for Fortune 1000 organizations to actively embrace innovative solutions for their employees’ stress,” Reulay CEO Patrick Candela said.
