Marxent Announces 3D Design Tech for Retailers Courting Millennials

Social media teams for home goods retailers can shine on
Pinterest, Instagram with 3D Room Designer; “It’s how millennials want
to design – directly from photos”

LAS VEGAS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Today Marxent announced that 3D Room Designer with Photo to Floorplan™
is now available to social media teams supporting DIY and furniture
retailers. It’s finally possible to create a constant stream of
picture-perfect inspirational content for Pinterest and Instagram feeds
without the expense and hassle of photography or Photoshop.

It takes 15 minutes or less to create a scene using 3D Room Design. A
social media team can easily create dozens of unique room designs on the
fly for ever-fresh content. It can also be used to craft campaigns that
compare the same room layout with different paint colors, rug sizes,
upholstery options, or other visual details.

Major retailers looking to provide the customer experience that
millennials demand are already using 3D Room Designer with Photo to
Floorplan to sell whole rooms and increase basket size by up to 50%.
There is an iPad-based version for in-store design services which can be
paired with Virtual Reality, and a self-service WebGL version for
e-commerce.
