Partnership will bring world-class Internet speeds to professional golf event
LEXINGTON, Ky.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Windstream, a leading provider of advanced network communications and technology solutions, is partnering with Barbasol Championship and the Professional Golf Association for the $3.5 million Barbasol Championship at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville July 18-21.
Windstream will showcase its expanded Kinetic Gig Internet service at the event. Spectators and staff around the clubhouse and in the VIP suites may access a 10-gigabit network connection wirelessly on their handheld devices. Kinetic IPTV, Windstream’s video streaming product, will run over the same fiber backbone for guests in the suites.

The Barbasol Championship is a PGA TOUR event that takes place July 18 – 21, 2019 at Champions at Keene Trace Golf Club in Nicholasville, Kentucky.
