SIMI VALLEY, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–#backtoschool–Students at Insight Schools of California (ISCA) will begin the 2019-2020 school year on August 26, returning to their online classrooms as they log on across the state. The online public charter schools offer students in grades 9-12 access to an education model that will set them up for success through high school and beyond.
ISCA provides a personalized approach to learning, delivering engaging curriculum entirely online. In pursuit of their high school diplomas, ISCA students take advantage of rigorous curriculum and comprehensive support services to ensure their academic and personal success.
“At ISCA, we recognize that a one-size-fits-all approach to education just isn’t going to work for every student,” said Jennifer Buehler, an academic advisor at the school. “Our goal is to give students of every ability an opportunity to succeed in the online classroom, and after they graduate. Whether they’re preparing for college or career, we’re here to encourage them every step of the way.”
ISCA’s California-credentialed teachers facilitate lessons during live, interactive online classes, and support students via phone, email, web-based classrooms and online discussions. Students can also take advantage of ISCA’s quarterly block scheduling model. The program enables students to concentrate on just three courses each quarter (typically a nine-week period) and aims to help students get and stay on track to graduate from high school on time.
ISCA ensures students are ready to learn and succeed after high school with its Social and Emotional Learning program. The school’s Family Academic Support Team includes licensed social workers and other support personnel to help students overcome challenges and stay focused on their academic and personal goals.
Enrollment is still open for the 2019-2020 school year. To learn more, visit ca.insightschools.net or download the K12 mobile app for iOS and Android devices.
