‘My FlatRate’ App Introduces Tech and Convenience to the Moving
Industry, Allowing Users to Book, Manage, Track and Pay For Their Move
NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FlatRate
Moving, one of the country’s most trusted, all-inclusive moving
services for more than 20 years, today announced the launch of “My
FlatRate” app. The app allows Apple
and Android
users to book and manage the entire moving process, from initial price
quote and item inventory to GPS tracking and real-time communication
with truck drivers and payment capabilities. My FlatRate also syncs the
company’s moving and storage services into one intuitive platform for a
faster and more convenient customer experience.
“Moving is complicated and unpredictable; it’s easy to become
overwhelmed with logistics, so we created the My FlatRate app to make
the entire process much more seamless and convenient,” said Sharone
Ben-Harosh, Founder and CEO, FlatRate Moving. “My FlatRate is designed
to reduce stress and save time – you can book and manage your entire
move from your mobile device, without picking up a phone. The app
represents real disruption in the moving industry – we’ve modernized the
relocation process to meet the expectations of our tech savvy customers.”
Key features of the “My FlatRate” app include:
Since its soft launch in February 2019, My FlatRate has helped more than
3,000 customers book more than $200,000 in moving and storage services.
The app has improved FlatRate Moving’s recommendation rate by 13 percent
and garnered more than 1,000, 5-star ratings on the company’s customer
satisfaction surveys.
“We believe in adapting and innovating our services to keep up with our
customers’ evolving needs – we’ve been doing that for more than 27
years,” said Ben-Harosh. “Unlike other moving apps that only address
specific elements of the process or services that direct you to hire a
stranger with a truck to move your valuables, we’ve encapsulated every
aspect of moving and storage into one convenient tool. Currently, 60
percent of our NYC-based users are tracking their moving trucks using
the app and we’re looking forward to rolling out additional features and
functionality to major cities in the near future.”
To celebrate the launch, FlatRate Moving is offering free box delivery
for any service booked through the app.
The app’s full features are currently available to customers in the New
York Tri-State area and California with availability in additional major
cities in the future. To download the “My FlatRate” app, please visit:
