DPA Microphones Gives Back to Live Industry With New “We Love Live” Campaign

ALLEROED, DENMARK, MARCH 14, 2022 ― The return of live events to the world after a slow two years is something worth celebrating, and DPA Microphones is doing just that with the launch of its “We Love Live” campaign. Over the next few months, the brand will focus on helping artists and venues jumpstart their entrance back into live performance. In recognition of this initiative,  the company has launched its “Sharing is Caring” social media competition, which is now live on DPA Microphones’ Facebook and Instagram pages.

Sharing is the name of the game, which is why entry to the “Sharing is Caring” competition is as simple as tagging a friend with whom you would like to share pristine DPA microphones. Entrants have until April 8 to tag a friend in the comments section of the competition announcement posts. Two lucky pairs will be chosen, one pair from Facebook and one pair from Instagram, with both the entrant and their tagged friend winning DPA gear of their choice, worth up to €750 each.

“It’s been a tough couple of years for the live industry, so we want to show them our support,” says Anne Berggrein, Vice President of Marketing at DPA Microphones. “The ‘We Love Live’ campaign is our way of celebrating the return of the live event industry. We want to keep celebrating the return of live concerts and events, so we are looking into other opportunities that will enable us give back even more to the live industry, which is at the heart of DPA.”

Competition announcement posts can be found on Facebook at @dpamicrophones and Instagram at @dpa_microphones. Only one friend can be tagged per comment. The more friends you tag, the more entries you receive, so sharing is key. Winners will be chosen by random draw and announced on each platform after the contest closes on April 8. Once announced, winners can customize their mic selection to meet specific needs―such as vocal or instrument mics.
