DeVry University Holds Grand Opening for New Ontario Center

ONTARIO, Calif.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–DeVry
University
and its Keller
Graduate School of Management
are proud to announce the opening of
their new Ontario campus at 2970 E. Inland Blvd., Ste. 100, Ontario,
Calif. A ribbon cutting ceremony will held Wednesday, June 5, with
Ontario Mayor Paul S. Leon, as well as DeVry University administrators,
faculty, students, alumni and friends. The ceremony will focus on the
importance of higher education rooted in the community.

“We are excited that DeVry University has chosen to locate their campus
in the City of Ontario,” said Mayor Paul S. Leon. “The success of our
local businesses depends on having a well-educated, highly-skilled
workforce to draw from; and educational institutions like DeVry provide
a wide range of course offerings to those getting ready for their first
job or those re-entering the job market in a new field.”

DeVry recently moved to its new campus from Pomona to Ontario to provide
a more collaborative education environment for students. The new campus
will occupy 13,000 square feet on the first floor with seven classrooms.
The layout of the new campus features a refreshed, open-concept design
with common areas for students to study individually or collaborate with
peers.

“We are proud to be a part of the Ontario community,” said Danielle
Sperandeo, PhD, campus dean. “After being in a neighboring suburb for
more than two decades, our goal was to remain in the area to continue
serving our students, while being able to offer vibrant and modern
educational facilities. The move to Ontario has been seamless thanks to
the support of our faculty, staff and community.”

DeVry University offers associate, bachelor and master degree programs,
online or at one of its 45+ locations nationwide, including Ontario.

The mission statement of the Greater Ontario Business Council is to
promote and develop the economic prosperity of the Greater Ontario
business community through leadership, education, advocacy, relationship
development, and innovation. “We recognize the importance of higher
education, and as a Business Council we establish partnerships with
colleges and universities to ensure that we are developing a skilled
workforce and that we give prospective students the accessibility and
the tools they need to continue their education. We are pleased to
welcome DeVry University to the Greater Ontario region,” said Peggi
Hazlett, CEO of the Greater Ontario Business Council.

The ribbon cutting is: Wednesday, June 5, 1 – 2:30 p.m. at DeVry’s new
campus at 2970 E. Inland Blvd, Ste. 100, Ontario. The ceremony will
focus on the importance of higher education being rooted in the
community. For more information on DeVry University, the new Ontario
