DC Students Begin New School Year in the Online Classroom

WASHINGTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–FPCSO, a tuition-free public school that serves kindergarteners through 8^th graders, will welcome students for the upcoming 2019-2020 school year on August 26th.

By combining personalized online instruction, a hands-on curriculum, and the support of highly qualified Washington, D.C. certified teachers, FPCSO helps students discover and reach their full potential.

The rigorous curriculum includes courses in language arts/English, math, science, history, world languages, art and music. Students can also choose to participate in dozens of extracurricular activities and clubs that cover a wide variety of interests.

“In online school, the focus is 100% on learning,” said FPCSO homeroom teacher Suzanne Conway. “We meet each student at their individual zone of proficiency and move them forward in their academic journey.”
