Cubic and Taoti Creative Win “Platinum Level” Award in Electronic Media from Hermes Creative Awards

Cubic Transportation Systems recognized in partnership with Taoti Creative in international competition for “Meet Umo” animated video

SAN DIEGO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Cubic Corporation (NYSE:CUB) today announced its Cubic Transportation Systems (CTS) business division and Taoti Creative received the “Platinum Level” Hermes Creative Award in the 2021 Electronic Media category for the “Meet Umo” animated video. The Hermes Creative Awards honors the creative industry’s best publications, branding, collateral, websites, videos and advertising in over 200 categories.

Cubic partnered with Taoti Creative to create the animated video to educate agencies and Umo users about the simplicity and convenience of the platform. The video launched with the Umo platform and umomobility.com on January 26, 2021. The colorful, informative video includes details on how the platform allows riders safe, seamless and stress-free journeys.

There were over 6,000 competition entries from throughout the United States, Canada and dozens of other countries. Entries were submitted from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms, design shops, production companies and freelancers.

The Hermes Creative Awards is administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), an international organization consisting of several thousand marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, media production and freelance professionals. AMCP oversees awards and recognition programs, provides judges, and rewards outstanding achievement and service to the profession.
