NAPERVILLE, Ill.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–ConnectSense, a leading manufacturer of home automation products, announces the release of the ConnectSense Smart In-Wall Outlet, a WiFi connected in-wall outlet that allows for complete control and monitoring of any device that is plugged into it. The outlet’s relays can be used to turn on/off each individual outlet through the available ConnectSense app, capacitive touch-controlled buttons, or voice commands via third party devices. The Smart In-Wall Outlet is compatible with iOS and Android, and supports Apple HomeKit, Amazon Alexa, and Google Assistant voice platforms, allowing simple control of your devices.

Available in both 15 Amp and 20 Amp options, the Smart In-Wall Outlet is easy to install and has been intelligently designed to operate in homes, as well as commercial environments such as office buildings, airports, factories, and universities. ConnectSense’s Smart In-Wall Outlet is one of the only dual controlled and metered 20A outlets on the market. Once installed, the outlet utilizes Near Field Communication (NFC) as part of the setup process, which allows it to quickly connect to an available wireless network. The built-in plug detection automatically senses when a device is plugged in, so you can begin controlling it via your mobile device or tablet.
