ACT Lighting, Inc. is pleased to announce that Bradley Cronenwett has joined the company as Regional Outside Sales for the southeast.  An Ohio native, Cronenwett brings to his new post more than a decade of production experience in lighting and design with touring shows such as Cirque du Soleil as well as theme park design at Universal Creative.

“We are excited to have Bradley join our growing sales team,” says ACT Lighting Director of Sales, Doug Mekanik who hands off the territory to Cronenwett while he continues to work closely with customers and help in Cronenwett’s transition.  “Bradley comes to us with a wealth of skills, including deep experience in touring and project management, great technical knowledge of our products, and the ability to aid customers in decision making and incorporating different kinds of technology to meet their needs.  We know he will be a big asset to ACT Lighting going forward.”

Cronenwett was most recently Project Manager at Westview Productions in Orlando where he handled a variety of permanent installation projects.  Prior to that he was Assistant Technical Manager for Lighting at Universal Creative managing the lighting design contract for a large-scale themed environment.

Earlier he served as Lighting Director, Project Manager and Lighting Designer at AV Media Inc. in Orlando where he designed lighting concepts for corporate events.  For two-and-a-half years he was Assistant Head of Lighting for Cirque du Soleil’s VOLTA North American Tour and Amaluna International Tour.

“At this pivotal time in the production community as our world begins to recover from the pandemic, I’m so excited to begin my new role at ACT Lighting and see what live entertainment has in store for us,” says Cronenwett.  “Whether it’s comeback tours, immersive experiences or just being able to feel the energy of a concert again, I look forward to partnering with our clients to bring back entertainment better than ever!”
