— Former Director of Strategy and Development-Retail for Boston Red Sox Hired to Lead Growth —

BOSTON, Mass.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Noble, the consumer-centric mobile ordering and marketing platform for onsite purchases, today, announced it has named Jon Dienstag as Vice President of Strategy and Development, where he will be responsible for leading enterprise and partnership growth at the company. A fifteen year veteran in concessions and event operations with the Boston Red Sox, Dienstag brings extensive food, beverage, and fan experience talent to the company.

Noble’s omni-channel ordering technology is tailor-made to fit in a variety of hospitality, gaming and entertainment establishments. Consumers can order and pay for bar and concession items, such as cocktails or hot dogs by native app, web-link / QR code for app-less ordering, and text via chatbot. Patrons can choose their desired pick up or delivery locations, and pay and tip via Venmo, Apple Pay, or credit card. Noble’s platform also enables patrons to schedule orders ahead of time like arrival, intermission or halftime.

Noble’s biggest advantage is its ability to solve mobile ordering challenges for consumer adoption. Similar to OpenTable, consumers want a trusted brand they can use at a variety of locations, regularly. With Noble, venues get more than industry leading technology and features, but also the ability to tap into a community of users.

“With his expertise in retail concessions and event operations management, Jon’s leadership will be extremely valuable and will make a significant impact growing the Noble Network of establishments” said Varun Pathak, CEO, Noble. “Most importantly, Jon shares our passion for disruptive technologies that win the hearts of the people in-venue, both guests and operators. His proven track record will be instrumental in managing the company’s growth today and in the future. We’re thrilled to add him to our senior management team.”

Prior to Noble, Jon ran the strategy behind the Boston Red Sox’ concessions and merchandise retail businesses supporting multi-million-dollar revenue growth. He led initiatives to enhance and innovate the ballpark experience and introduced and integrated numerous food and beverage related sponsorships. A Harvard graduate, Jon began his career as a summer intern with the Red Sox in 2004, the year Boston broke the 86-year World Series drought. He went on to serve as Special Assistant to then President/CEO Larry Lucchino and later lead nearly 200 day-of-game employees.

“I’ve seen what Noble offers venues and consumers and I’m thrilled to join the team,” said Jon Dienstag. “During my time at Fenway Park, I saw firsthand the difficulties of long waits at concession stands and I’m eager to join a company that is developing emerging technology to improve venue experiences. I look forward to helping the Noble Network reach new markets and to provide consumers with the most appealing mobile digital ordering solution available today.”

With locations across 10 cities in the U.S. on the Noble Network today, concession and venue operators have benefited from reduced wait times by removing time spent physically taking orders or processing payments. With over 1.1K five star reviews on the App Store, guest experience has also seen higher satisfaction scores as the Noble ordering system removes the inconvenience of having to wait in long lines and potentially miss important moments of their in-venue experience.
